HIME RECORDER
Terms of Service
Updated September 12, 2026
These Terms govern use of HIME RECORDER. By using the App, you agree to them.
Service
The App provides user-started audio recording, live transcription, speaker diarization, summaries, search, AI voice consultation, and export. Availability varies by device, OS, network, and third-party AI status.
Your recording responsibilities
You are responsible for the legality of recording, required notice or consent, and use of recorded data. The App does not promise direct telephone-call recording, complete call blocking, or covert recording.
AI limitations
Transcripts, speaker labels, summaries, tasks, and answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check original audio and primary sources for medical, legal, financial, or other important decisions.
Prohibited use
Do not use the App for unlawful conduct, rights violations, unauthorized surveillance, credential theft, service disruption, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access to another person's data.
Personal API key
When using your own OpenAI API key, OpenAI terms, limits, and charges apply. You are responsible for key security and charges to your OpenAI account.
Data and backup
Recordings are primarily stored on-device. Export important recordings against device loss, damage, low storage, or OS termination. We protect finalized chunks but cannot guarantee recovery of the currently written portion.
Availability
AI functions may pause for maintenance, outages, network loss, or provider changes. Local recording remains the priority, but recording cannot continue after iOS terminates the App process.
Intellectual property
Rights in the App, name, UI, and software belong to the operator or licensors. Rights in lawfully created recordings remain with the user or applicable rights holders.
Changes and law
We may revise these Terms and will update the date or provide in-App notice for material changes. Japanese law governs these Terms.
